Alain Désormeaux est né le 1er février 1931 à Verneuil sur Avre (Normandie), à la fois Ecrivain, Parolier, Artiste Peintre au coup de crayon assuré et Galériste (galerie LES'ARTS à Sens) il côtoie les plus grands. Voisin et Ami de Vlaminck à Rueil la Gadelière dans sa jeunesse, c'est à Sens, dans sa Galerie qu'il remarquera les talents exceptionnels de Bernard Charoy, Pedro Sobrado, Marc de Michelis ou encore le peintre Arsene Sari qui habita pendant plus de 10 ans sa magnifique demeure de Rigny le Féron dont il se fit un atelier.
